All current safety legislation must be strictly observed.
A harness must be fit for the purpose for which it is intended. User inspection before each use is essential. All damage is potentially dangerous. If there is doubt about the safety of the equipment it must be taken out of service pending full inspection.
Willans offers free inspection of CLEAN harnesses. Return carriage, including VAT, is charged at cost. Where repairs are necessary, the owner will be provided with an estimate.
Harnesses considered beyond economical repair will be returned to owner after discussion. Carriage and VAT will be charged unless we are instructed to scrap.
Please include log cards with equipment returned for inspection.
Our harnesses are manufactured and tested to the appropriate European Standard. Adaptation for use in specific operations will usually necessitate re-testing and re-certification. We are happy to discuss this possibility.
Dimensional change to accommodate extra large or very small wearers is possible. We will be happy to make these changes during manufacture of a new harness. Contact us.
