The name of Willans has always represented all that’s best in safety when it comes to climbing harness.
Whilst I have been climbing for over forty years, I have seen and been encouraged to try various makes, but for me, and I know countless others, there hasn’t been anything to take the place of the Willans T22.
I have nothing but praise for this harness, I would encourage everyone to try it.
When I was first asked to test this new harness with its metal front sliding bar, I admit, I did have concerns. However, since using it over a period if time, those concerns have more than diminished.
This harness incorporates all that’s best in Willans harness with the now added bonus of a sliding “D” Ring.
Unlike those that have webbing on the side attachment points, this has a positive metal connection that isn’t subject to wear and can therefore give the utmost confidence when suspended many feet from the ground.
The unique shape of the metal bar also ensures that the maillon centralises itself and doesn’t slide from side to side unless of course you want it to. The wide back also gives extra support to your back when climbing.
I have nothing but praise for this harness I would encourage everyone to try it. I know you won’t be disappointed and another bonus is its Cornish, strong, reliable and dependable.
